Chamber Orchestra of New York returns to Fairfield Church in Connecticut for the second concert of our program titled “Baroque Treasures,” highlighting anniversaries of Rameau and C.P.E. Bach. The ensemble performs C.P.E. Bach’s Concerto for Harpsichord in A Minor and Michel Corrette’s Concerto Comique, featuring French harpsichordist Aymeric Dupré la Tour, as well as Rameau’s Overture to Castor et Pollux. The program also includes Albinoni’s Adagio in G Minor and Vivaldi’s Concerto in A Minor for Two Violins, Strings, and Continuo, showcasing orchestra concertmasters Kelly Hall-Tompkins and Daniel Khalikov.
