Concert Season – Bach’s Brandenburg, Vivaldi and Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik

Bach’s Brandenburg No. 5, Vivaldi and Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik

Friday, November 16, 2018 at 7:30pm
Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall

Our season opens with principal flutist Ginevra Petrucci who joins harpsichordist Aymeric Dupre la Tour and concertmaster Kelly Hall-Tompkins for Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5. Di Vittorio’s own Baroque-inspired Sarabanda Antica, serving as a prelude to our June Naxos recordings, receives its world premiere. Principal Stephanie Corwin plays Vivaldi’s Bassoon Concerto RV477, followed by principal Slava Znatchenii’s performance of Marcello’s Oboe Concerto. The program then concludes with Mozart’s ever popular Serenade in G “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik”.
