Where is your principal venue Carnegie Hall located?

Carnegie Hall is located at 881 7th Ave, New York, NY 10019. Entrances:
Weill Hall may be entered from 57th Street. Zankel Hall may be entered from 7th Avenue.

What is the proper dress code for a Carnegie Hall concert?

Carnegie Hall does not have a specific dress code but concert goers may wear anything from business attire or business casual, or more casual outfits.

Where is the closest parking garage near Carnegie Hall?

When should I arrive?

It’s best to arrive about 30 minutes before each concert to retrieve tickets from the Box Office and locate seats.

Where can I find program notes for each concert?

Program notes for each concert may be found in our season program booklet, which includes information for our Carnegie Hall Masterworks Series concert. See Table of Contents for locate the evening’s concert program.

When is it appropriate to clap after the music?

Applause should be held until the end of each work. If it’s a multi-movement piece of music, applause should happen after the entire work has been completed. Sometimes the audience may clap after one of the movements of a multi-movement work, and that is fine but should not become habitual for the audience.

Can we meet the Artists?

Music Director Salvatore Di Vittorio and the featured concert soloist(s) will greet audience members in the lobby immediately following each concert.
